As a very new organization, the majority of our team is volunteer led. Financial support for Black Girl Environmentalist goes towards supporting BGE’s programming, curated educational resources, and equitably paying our team.

As one of the few organizations dedicated to supporting Black women and non-binary folks across environmental disciplines, supporting our community helps create an environmental movement made in the image of all of us.
