WORK WITH US

Our goal in partnership is to create mutually beneficial, long-lasting relationships with individuals and organizations invested in building growth opportunities.

Black Girl Environmentalist is steadfast in our approach to center the power of Black girls in climate solutions and leadership. We are eager to find partners and collaborators who are serious about supporting our efforts for a climate movement made in the image of us all.

We welcome partners who value…

  • Sustainable solutions that empower us to grow our work over time

  • Reciprocal efforts that strengthen and deepen our work for regenerative futures

  • Creative approaches to empowerment and sharing resources

PARTNERSHIP PRIORITY AREAS

  • Land and property partners who share access to their space for events, retreats, and conferences.

  • Networking partners who would like to invite us to climate events, platform us at conferences, and facilitate meaningful introductions to aligned supporters.

  • Philanthropic partners who can commit to multi-year and unrestricted operational funding, fundraise on our behalf or create giving programs that benefit BGE.

  • Media partners who would like to feature us on a podcast, blog, interview, or digital collaboration.

  • Program sponsors who support us in providing the critical resources needed for early career Black women and gender-expansive green leaders to thrive by sponsoring one of our programs.

  • Sponsor our Mentorship Program: The BGE Mentorship program is a small-group program that matches Black women and gender-expansive HBCU and community college students with a Black woman mentor and a cohort of other budding climate leaders of color.

Sponsor our Hazel M. Johnson Fellowship: This is a 10-week climate internship program for early career BGEs (rising juniors, rising seniors, and recent graduates) to learn about, engage with, and enter the environmental and climate sectors with adequate funding, mentorship, and community building.

Sponsor our Get in Your Career Bag Program: We deliver free professional development programming to students of color and early career individuals, with a focus on HBCUs and community colleges. We provide presentations on green career pathways and benefits and provide 1:1 resume & career support.

Sponsor logos are included in outreach & program materials and are verbally thanked at the beginning of the engagement.

    Program sponsorships start at $2,500.
